Launching at #1 on the coveted count, ‘Guts’ premiered with a whopping 302,000 equivalent album units in the US.

Diving into the numbers, the ‘Vampire’ led LP earned 151,000 units via streaming thanks to a staggering 199.59 million on-demand official streams of the album’s 12 songs. The feat sees the project register the sixth biggest streaming debut of the year to date.

Pure sales represented a sizeable portion of Rodrigo’s sales pie (150,000 units). Of that sum, the lion’s share was accrued via vinyl sales, which towered tall at 94,000 units. This marks the seventh-largest week for a vinyl album since Luminate began tracking sales electronically in 1991.

Additional formats amounted to 1,000 units.

As reported, Rodrigo’s debut, ‘Sour,’ opened at #1 with first-week sales of 295,000 in 20121.

With the 20-year-old songbird’s first and second albums premiering in pole position, she becomes the first female artist to achieve this feat in nine years. Before her, the last woman to achieve said feat was Ariana Grande with 2013’s ‘Yours Truly’  and its 2014 follow-up ‘My Everything’ in 2014.
