The assignment: MUST-SEE TV for Summer 2021. We got ‘chu!

Go inside for our list of the fire shows you should be watching, streaming and DVR’ing right NEOOOW (no typo)….

Summer is approaching! And that means hot TV shows are making a return.

When you think of summer, you don’t necessarily think of television. However, with streaming services BOOMING with new shows, the summer months are jammed packed with titillating content that keeps us entertained when outside is hotter than devil’s fish grease.

Long gone are the days of good shows only premiering in fall and spring. And if you’re still not all the way comfortable with being out and about amid the pandemic (as vaccine numbers continue to rise), we’ve got a bomb cheat sheet of shows to check out.

We’ve got RANGE.  From watching real-life crime boss Bumpy Johnson (played by Forrest Whitaker) deal with post-prison life in EPIX’s “Godfather of Harlem” to getting an inside look at teen John B (played by Chase Stokes) and his friends searching for a legendary treasure linked to his father’s disappearance in Netflix’s series “Outer Banks.”

Plus, utterly ridiculous reality romance and drama with “Love Island” and “Real Housewives of Potomac” that we shamefully stan, the college drama we love on “Grown-ish”, “Desus and Mero” return to crack us TF up and Monica getting into the True Crime lane over on VH1. Oh, 50 Cent gives us another installment of the “Power” universe with “Raising Kanan”. And we’re crying in the car already about the final season of “Insecure” and “Legendary”. We hate two of our fave summer shows are ending!

Oh yes. We have something for everyone!

Scroll through our gallery below for a hefty list of MUST-SEE TV shows that’ll premiere this summer (if it hasn’t already) that will surely keep you entertained.
