YFN Lucci turned himself in after Atlanta police were looking for him in connection to a fatal shooting. Details on his felony murder, plus what happened inside…

YFN Lucci turned himself in to police in Atlanta police where he is facing a felony murder charge in connection to a fatal shooting last month.

The “Everyday We Lit” rapper (real name Rayshawn Bennett) is currently being held in Fulton County Jail after he was brought up on several charges, including felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in street gang activity and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The rapper’s attorney – Thomas Reynolds – issued a statement to CNN regarding his arrest, saying, “The presumption of innocence is a fundamental constitutional right for every citizen. Beyond this, we have no further comment at this time.” According to arrest affidavit (obtained by TMZ), Lucci is being held WITHOUT bond.

On December 10th, Atlanta police officers reportedly responded to calls of a person shot around 5:20pm. The police found 28-year-old James Adams lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his face, according to the police reports. He was rushed to the hospital where he died.

Not long after the first shooting, a second victim popped up with a gunshot wound. 32-year-old Kevin Wright was driven to the fire station by private vehicle with a gunshot to his abdomen. Detectives believe the shootings are related.

There were THREE suspects named in the investigation – one of them being Lucci. The “Everyday We Lit” rapper is wanted for felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in street gang activity and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The other two suspects (23-year-old Ra’von Boyd and 17-year-old Leroy Pitts) were reportedly arrested.

The 911 call that led to Lucci turning himself in was recently released. A woman said she and a friend were walking down the street and she saw a man get thrown from a white SUV. She said he was suffering a gunshot wound to the head and was fighting for his life in the street.

Take a listen to the disturbing call below:

There’s a plot twist.

According to TMZ, the alleged murder victim – 28-year-old James Adams – is a member of Lucci’s camp! The police said they have a video before the shooting where James was allegedly heard saying, “We’re fitting to f*** this city up, man!” and “yeah, we’re f***ing this city up!”

Lucci and his homies were riding around ATL when they drove into a portion of the city controlled by another gang. According to the police, the SUV “entered an oncoming lane of traffic and stopped on the left shoulder, allowing Adams and the front passenger of the vehicle, Ra’von Boyd, to fire multiple gunshots from assault rifle style firearms at people in the rival gang territory.”

“Adams was manually ejected from the vehicle a short distance away — his body left [on] the street,” police said.

James was reportedly shot in the head by the return fire. Another man – Kevin Wright – sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

After news broke that the cops were looking for the father-of-four, fans started asking folks to check on his girlfriend, Reginae Carter, whom he recently reunited with. A few days ago, Reginae was poppin’ off on Twitter about making “h-es mad” and how women shouldn’t be OK with being “samples” but should strive to be the whole situation.

We really hate to see it.
