The people have spoken! Go inside this year’s People’s Choice Awards where Cardi B presents Halle Berry with the People’s ICON Award, H.E.R. and Garcelle Beauvais get pretty in pink, Porsha Williams serves up an all-black slay, and Leslie Jones keeps it fun and flirty in bold colors…

The Halle Berry x Cardi B mashup is the collaboration that keeps on giving.

After the release of their all-female Hop Hop BRUISED soundtrack, Cardi B took center stage to honor Halle Berry with a prestigious award. Last night, the 2021 People’s Choice Awards, hosted by actor/comedian Kenan Thompson, went down live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA where Cardi – styled in SOL BY IRENA SOPRANO – saluted the veteran actress with the People’s Icon Award.

”To have Cardi B present you with an ICON Award, like, I don’t think of a moment that could be bigger in my life. Thank you, Cardi,” Halle said during her acceptance speech.

”The only reason I have been here for 30 years, still working and doing what I love on my own terms, redefining myself decade after decade is because of all of you. Every single one of you. You allow me to be myself,” she said.

The award winning actress praised her kids – 13-year-old Nahla (whom she shares with former model Gabriel Aubry) and 8-year-old Maceo (whom she shares with Olivier Martinez) – for allowing her to do what she loves.

”My two little kids, they have to lose so much time with their mommy because I get to go work and do what I love, so thank you Nahla, thank you Maceo. I hope you find something in life that you can love and you can do with as much vigor and as much zest as I do what I do. I love you guys,” she said.

Peep her acceptance speech and watch her have a fan girl moment with Bardi below:

Cardi and Halle made Hollywood history after the Grammy Award winning rapper and the Oscar winning actress joined forces to executive produced the soundtrack for Halle’s Netflix movie BRUISED – where Halle also makes her directorial debut. The soundtrack features tracks from all female Hip Hop artists, including Cardi. It’s the first time there has been an all-female film score, so that’s HERstory!

Even after presenting Halle with her award, Cardi was still in awe of the veteran actress:

Back on the carpet….

Grammy & Oscar winning singer H.E.R. hit the stage to pay tribute to late iconic singer Marvin Gaye with a rendition of his classic hit “What’s Going On” on the track’s 50th anniversary.

The soulful songstress hit the red carpet in a pink Carolina Herrera power suit.

Check out some of her performance below:

Making her way down the carpet, she ran into “The Real” co-host/”Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais, who was also decked out in all pink.

Hot mama!

Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams – who announced she’s leaving the show two months ago – attended in representation of “RHOA,” which was nominated in the Reality Show of 2021 category.

Porsha’s new spin-off titled “Porsha’s Family Matters” debut recently. Have you watched?

Come through color!

EMMY nominated comedienne Leslie Jones pulled up in a pop of color, rocking a lime green ruched Christian Siriano dress, to pose it up before linking up with Halle on the carpet.

“Orange Is The New Black” actress Laverne Cox (rocking Jean Louis Sabaji) and reality star/TV host Karamo Brown (styling in a liquid metal three-piece kimono suit by Dzojchen) posed it up on the carpet before getting to their red carpet hosting duties.

“This Is Us” actress Susan Kelechi Watson kept it classy and sexy at the same damn time in a sparkly, cut-out Dundas number.

“black-ish” actress Tracee Ellis Ross kept it comfortably chic in a black jumpsuit.

The EMMY nominated actress presented Kim Kardashian West with “The Fashion Icon” Award.

NBA baller and “Dancing With The Stars” winner Iman Shumpert hit the carpet where he stopped for selfies with his “DWTS” co-star JoJo Siwa.

Get Out star Lil Rel Howery got clean for the awards ceremony.

Funny man Kenan Thompson kept the jokes going throughout the awards ceremony as this year’s host.

“The Upshaws” star/nominee Wanda Sykes made her way on the carpet as she was in the running for The Comedy TV Star of 2021.

TV personality Rocsi Diaz made a statement in a Kim Kassas Couture dress with Christian Louboutin shoes and Shay Jewelry.

Inside…

Laverne Cox did a costume change to present.

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won the People’s Champion award where he didn’t waste any time to live up to the title, giving his trophy a Make-a-Wish recipient. Gotta love The Rock!
